We work closely with all of our clients chosen venues to ensure that you have the information you need to feel 100% in the loop, and you are happy with everything that is being proposed.
Our dedicated team of experienced event planners are always on hand to answer any questions you may have, and we are committed to providing you with as much detail as you need.
Letting us perform at your establishment is always appreciated and we will ensure we represent you whilst being a ‘waiter’, and we’ll always give you and your team the respect you always show us.
Our Event Planning Process
Once a client has booked to have Silver Service Singers at their wedding, party or corporate event we proactively contact you to check the finer details, find out about set-up, room locations and any preferences you might have.
Then once we have everything agreed we issue our official function sheet (to you and the client) which outlines the plan for the day including all timings, song choices and more.
On the Day
The singers will arrive at the agreed time to set up their equipment, complete sound checks and then hide until they are ready to get dressed in their undercover uniforms.
Whilst acting as waiters alongside your waiting staff (if you have them), they use this time to get to know the guests. This will then prepare them as they get ready to execute the planned surprise.
Equipment & Insurances
As part of our planning process we automatically provide copies of our public liability insurance documents and electrical PAT test certificates.

Within 1 working day of us being booked by our mutual client, we will email you to let you know that we are coming so that you are aware, we will also let you know who has booked and who the surprise is for so that you can be in on keeping the secret.

All of our equipment has an annual PAT test to ensure it is safe to use, and our Public & Products Liability Insurance is in place and we are covered for up to £10m.

All of our singers are fully equipped. Where possible they will always use their own PA system to ensure the performance is of the highest standard. We find that most venues have an in house system which is designed for speaking or playing background music rather than having a live performance through it.
We will work with you to ensure our mutual customers get the best experience and we always stay within any sound limitations you have in place.

The best way to describe our waiting on skills is that your team will be better than us! We are not professional waiters but we do act and look the part, and we definitely do not get in your team’s way.
When looking at who should be on your team’s rota, it is imperative that you don’t add our singers into your team numbers as the moment they burst in to song it is clear they are much better at singing than they are serving!
From a client’s point of view, we are the perfect waiters which is exactly what they and their guests need to think for the surprise to work.

When our planners get in touch with you around 6-8 weeks before the event they will go through the timings with you to work with you on the best time to start the surprise.
Our performance will never start before hot food has been served and it is very much a conversation to fit within your timings but also ensure we start singing when the room needs to be entertained.
I am sure we can all agree that timings can easily need to be changed on the day and we will work with you to ensure the day runs smoothly.

The performance length is based around a number of decisions the client has made.
We perform an 8 song set at most events and although we do not time how long this happens for it is on average 35 minutes from the moment we burst in to song to our finale coming to an end.
