Our Event Planning Process
Once a client has booked to have Silver Service Singers at their wedding, party or corporate event we proactively contact you to check the finer details, find out about set-up, room locations and any preferences you might have.
Then once we have everything agreed we issue our official function sheet (to you and the client) which outlines the plan for the day including all timings, song choices and more.
On the Day
The singers will arrive at the agreed time to set up their equipment, complete sound checks and then hide until they are ready to get dressed in their undercover uniforms.
Whilst acting as waiters alongside your waiting staff (if you have them), they use this time to get to know the guests. This will then prepare them as they get ready to execute the planned surprise.

Wow wow wow!!! The silver service singers quite literally saved my wedding day. I had hired another company who let me down and they stepped in last minute. They say everything happens for a reason and now I know why. As the bride this was hands down my favourite part of the day! I booked it but was still surprised as the singers looked just like the other waiters and fooled us by saying “you two are the best looking couple we’ve had at the castle in years” so I thought it can’t be them!!! Well this was a surprise!!! Albeit that’s the point… ordered by my mother to surprise my wife and I on our wedding day last Sunday…..Midway through cutting the cake the clumsy yet friendly scouse waiter goes flying across the dance floor throwing cutlery everywhere…. My first thought…. Wow what can I say! Everyone absolutely loved the singers at our wedding they were a surprise for our guests and so many people have said how brilliant it was. Had an amazing wedding on 20/07/24 at Thief Hall Northallerton i kept the surprise even for the Groom with all my other added surprises i have been told my wedding was amazing and one of the best, I knew there was two wedding singers i actually but didnt see them until the entrance of the wedding so didnt know who they were. Been to about 9 weddings in the last two years and everyone said this added amazing effect.Definitely recommend x

We had the singing waiters on Friday 9th Aug for our wedding. It was a suprise for all the guests and we've had nothing but great compliments from guests to say it was a way to get the party started. AMAZING! Ian and Shona were brilliant. They timed it beautifully and got the party started which carried on all night. Noone knew and it was a great way to get the party going. I HIGHLY recommend using this company for your singing waiters ! This was the third company I called when I was researching singing waiters. There’s a number of reasons I chose them, firstly they were the best value for money but most importantly they showed so much passion and enthusiasm towards my wedding, I would have been silly not to pick them. They sorted everything for me and their admin team were always so lovely and responded in a timely manner ! Everyone I ever dealt with was so kind and they always showed they cared. On the day the waiters blended in and even we didn’t know who they were ! They did such a cracking effort at getting everyone involved (even my grandad who can sometimes be grumpy in situations like this) they got every single person up and dancing and singing ! They also did their best effort to sing a song that wasn’t on their list so I could surprise my husband. Every single guest commented on the waiters and I’ve been told it was the best part of the wedding (not sure if I should be offended or not !!!). The waiters themselves were so talented and friendly, and good eye candy for a lot of the guests !! If I ever have another event where I need singers I would 1000% come back to this company. The silver service singers team were amazing throughout the initial enquiry, the booking and on our wedding day. They were easy to contact over the phone and email and answered all of my queries right up until the week before our wedding back in August 2023. The song selection was so much fun looking through the list of options and choosing the order these were performed in. We were also able to do a bit of a unique reveal on our wedding day with my husband singing the first few lines of 'My Girl' and the singing waiter interrupting him, everyone loved it so much!! Wow, the singing waitors brought such energy, fun and entertainment to our party.They delivered what they said they would do. The booking office were punctual and very friendly.The singers, arrived on time, helped with food and drnk service, wore the caterers aprons as disguise, completely pulled off the stunt of falling and then jumped up singing. The songs were sang with fun, enthusiasm, great quality and made it personal to the birthday boy.Would certainly recommend this quality act.The comments from guests have been so positive and all thoroughly enjoyed the show they put on.

Oh wow! So singing waiters was something that originally was a nice to have (I had to convince the husband) haha, but honestly it really made our day the icing on the cake! Our day already went as perfect as it could of but I was worried how after food before the night guest arrived the atmosphere would go flat and I was right, as soon as pudding was done you could see people getting up wondering around etc, but I wasn't worried cause I knew we had the perfect entertainment coming up.As soon as Tom hit the floor the full room was in shock, then he went into song well the room was electric, that flat room was long gone I can't even put into words the buzz Tom brought to the room, wow he was amazing every song, he got the whole room involved!To this day people are saying it is one of the best weddings they have been to and honestly without Tom the wedding wouldve still been lovely but he brought the fun to the wedding and was worth every penny! Best thing I did was book the Silver Service Singers for our Wedding. I kept it a secret from everyone including the groom! All our family and friends are still talking about 3 months on! It is expensive but it was soooooo worth it, from the get go the singers had us dancing, singing and laughing. We had a dance off with the ladies and the men, the longest conga line, and it defo got everyone in the party mood after the Wedding Breakfast. There wasn't a dull moment! We honestly cannot put into words how much we enjoyed having you at our wedding! We booked as a surprise for our wedding guests, many of them weren’t even aware that singing waiters were a thing - and it was SO worth it to see everyone’s faces during the reveal, and how much fun we all had. You blended in so well with the venue’s staff, and we had a lot of fun trying to guess who you were between ourselves during the meal. Our singers absolutely blew our minds, they were so friendly, and interacted with the crowd so well. Their singing was fantastic, and their minor tweaks to our setlist went down so well with everyone. Within 1 working day of us being booked by our mutual client, we will email you to let you know that we are coming so that you are aware, we will also let you know who has booked and who the surprise is for so that you can be in on keeping the secret.

All of our equipment has an annual PAT test to ensure it is safe to use, and our Public & Products Liability Insurance is in place and we are covered for up to £10m.

All of our singers are fully equipped. Where possible they will always use their own PA system to ensure the performance is of the highest standard. We find that most venues have an in house system which is designed for speaking or playing background music rather than having a live performance through it.
We will work with you to ensure our mutual customers get the best experience and we always stay within any sound limitations you have in place.

The best way to describe our waiting on skills is that your team will be better than us! We are not professional waiters but we do act and look the part, and we definitely do not get in your team’s way.
When looking at who should be on your team’s rota, it is imperative that you don’t add our singers into your team numbers as the moment they burst in to song it is clear they are much better at singing than they are serving!
From a client’s point of view, we are the perfect waiters which is exactly what they and their guests need to think for the surprise to work.

When our planners get in touch with you around 6-8 weeks before the event they will go through the timings with you to work with you on the best time to start the surprise.
Our performance will never start before hot food has been served and it is very much a conversation to fit within your timings but also ensure we start singing when the room needs to be entertained.
I am sure we can all agree that timings can easily need to be changed on the day and we will work with you to ensure the day runs smoothly.

The performance length is based around a number of decisions the client has made.
We perform an 8 song set at most events and although we do not time how long this happens for it is on average 35 minutes from the moment we burst in to song to our finale coming to an end.
